Smart launches “Uzzap” – RP’s first mobile “all-in-one” messaging service

Smart Communications broke new ground today by launching the country’s first flat-rate, all-in-one, unlimited messaging service called Uzzap.
Uzzap is an Internet protocol (IP)-based, downloadable application which allows users to merge several messaging services such as SMS, instant messaging, and email into their mobile phone.
More importantly, the application allows users to enjoy real-time, unlimited access to their existing accounts on other instant messaging networks popular in the Internet, all via their handset –allowing users to stay connected anytime, anywhere.
Available on a free trial period from today until 20July 2008, the application is expected to be the preferred messaging platform of people who enjoy chatting but want more real value out of their money. Text UZZAP to 7272 for download instructions. For more information, visit www.smart.com.ph/buddyand click on the Uzzap link.

My sources states that Globe subscribers was able to use the UZZAP Application for FREE. This is maybe due to the “FREE TRIAL PERIOD” being offered by SMART. For Globe Subscribers, TRY at your own risk.

Globe users have to pay the applicable data rates.

Yup, it’s free to try from Globe and Sun and any carrier. Even works on Wi-Fi. Just pay your own data charges.
